The Practice Of Slavery At Walmart/Scam’s Club Part-Three

I’m a lucky girl and I’ll tell you why. I was recently fired from Walmart/Scam’s Club. I rest my case.

Long story short, From 2012 to 2018, I had 6 years of bad luck regarding 4 previous Employers. Macy’s, King Soopers, DPS, and Walmart/Scam’s Club. All four companies paid low wages. Then it went downhill from there.

Here’s the truth, although it was very challenging for me to stay in control of my emotions, I conquered that mountain. Now I’m happy to become your personal coach. Seriously, if I can do it, conquering the mountain in front of me, then you can too.

Just become a ‘Follower’ because I need you as much as you need me.

$20 Federal Minimum Wage Law

One way to end the practice of slavery in the workplace is by passing a $20 Federal minimum wage law. Sowing and nourishing the seeds to bear the fruits of livable wages for every working American will be challenging. It’s OK, I got the time!

If you’re like me and a supervisor and/or manager demanded you complete the tasks of four full-time employees, I feel you. That kind of work environment is toxic and it all began with your hourly wage and went downhill from there. I’m not the kind of person that can handle bullying in the workplace. I’m the kind of person that believes a $20 Federal minimum wage law is an idea whose time had come.

You and I know that millions of working Americans are not being paid what they’re worth. Passing a $20 Federal minimum wage law is the least we can do for them.

Don’t Blame Me

Because your turnover rate is astronomical. Hiring new employees isn’t the problem, bullying employees is the problem, but more than one employer I’d crossed paths with, blamed me for their sins. Seriously, and trust me, I wasn’t the only one, they did it to every employee. So, y’all know I didn’t take their bullying personally.

C’mon, there’s another unspoken rule in low wage jobs and that’s ‘Scapegoating is the new normal.’ Monica a Manager at Sam’s Club where I’m currently receiving a degree in writing, decided it was a good idea to blame me for not taking on the responsibilities of four (4) full-time employees. The best part, my hourly wage is $11.50. Yeah, you do the math. That shit is funny.

A $20 Federal minimum wage law is an idea whose time had come. Diamond Rock Your Vote. Remember your vote is a suitcase of jewels. Don’t believe me, then why are Republicans doing everything in their power to steal it? Steal it for what? Because the Republican’s only agenda is helping a few Billionaires accumulate more wealth. I rest my case! 😉

I’m Underhanded And Ruthless

Just like the bullies masquerading as Supervisors and/or Managers that I’d encountered at Sam’s Club. The only difference between them and myself, ‘I give as good as I get.’ Case in point, at Sam’s Club, the bullies masquerading as Supervisors and/or Managers used documentation as a bullying tool. Well, there’s an old saying, ‘What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.’ At this juncture, I really do have the advantage, suffice it to say, the pen is mightier than the sword.

If you hadn’t noticed, I’m so fucking cocky when it comes to writing. Trust me, my cockiness is a turn off to people who know me. Truth be told, I’d been Blogging for over four years and I’d earned my black belt. I will karate kick a bully’s ass one word at a time. Trust me, this is a new way of being.

The Supervisors and/or Managers at Sam’s Club are amateurs compared to the misogynistic and ego-driven co-workers/Supervisors/Managers at DPS I’d worked with. Yeah, I’d spend one year working as a custodian for DPS. My experiences were so unbelievable that I wrote a book. Slaves ‘R’ Us

At the low, low wage of $11.50, the Supervisors and/or Manager at Sam’s Club where I currently work want me to believe and I kid you not, that I should take on the responsibilities of four (4) full-time employees. Oh, but it gets betta because I’m a part-time employee with little or no benefits. Like I’d mentioned before, “You do the math, I can’t because I’d laughed so hard my sides ache.” Trust me, harassment, intimidation, and coercion are not beneath these bullies masquerading as Supervisors and/or Managers. Sorta like working on a Plantation where overseers make sure the slaves are working. Hello, I’m being facetious, forgive me.

The Vicious Unforgiving Written Warning That Proves The Managers At Sam’s Club Don’t Know That Slavery Was Abolished In the U.S.

To be fair to Monica, she couldn’t help herself. She stepped into a big pile of dog shit when she abused her authority. She decided to come for me with some bullshit about me not performing the work of four (4) full-time employees. Yeah, you heard me right, because, in my opinion, that’s the managerial strategy at Sam’s Club where I work at.

Oh, my bad, it’s called, ‘The Lazy Negro Strategy.’ You know, whereas a Black woman, in this case, my black ass, I should’ve performed the work of four (4) full-time employees on my part-time schedule and anything less than that was unacceptable. Oh, but here’s the best part, I’m earning $11.50 per hour. You do the math, I can’t, because it makes me laugh too hard my sides ache.

C’mon, the only conclusion I can come up with is that the Supervisors and/or Managers at Sam’s Club where I work, don’t know or willfully ignored that slavery was abolished in 1865. Just sayin’!
