It’s Not Just The Clothing Area

Those words came from the Manager named Brian. He’d been radioed by another manager about possible opened positions within the ‘Center Section.’ Brian’s first response was, “Yes, there’s a full-time and a part-time position.” A moment passed then Brian lamented, “Tell whoever that it’s not just the clothing area, it’s the entire ‘Center Section.’ OK, that was a snarky bully tactic and I’ll tell you why. Because I work within the boundaries of the clothing area and I rarely venture outside those boundaries. I don’t give a fuck about the entire ‘Center Section.’ If Brian has a problem with me working primarily within the clothing area, he should fire me instead of sulking behind a communication radio taking cheap shots at me.

At the Walmart/Sam’s Club where I work the supervisors and/or managers can’t give up their practice of slavery. Oh well, more stupid shit to blog about. I ain’t mad at Brian.

Instead of staffing the ‘Center Section’ appropriately, a minimum of four full-time employees at all times earning a livable wage, no, the expectations are for the low, low hourly wage of $11.50, a part-time employee should complete the tasks of four full-time employees. I can only speak for myself, but that’s what I call, ‘The Practice Of Slavery At Walmart/Sam’s Club.’

Well, If It’s Deceit They Want

Welcome to my playpen. No kidding. 😉 What’s more deceitful than Mandigo spreading Lucy’s gossip to anyone willingly Not only am I listening, I’m takin’ notes. For example, Mandigo was almost giddy telling me how Lucy literally ran out of the store last night. OK, now my black ass jumped to the wrong conclusion. I thought Lucy had a mental breakdown for several reasons. To my horror, it seems Lucy’s spouse was in a car accident. Now I wouldn’t wish that on myself, so I know I can’t wish that on tragic on anyone. Like I’d mentioned, Mandigo was almost giddy and at this point, he laughed and said, “His second, wink, wink, car accident.” 

I took that to mean, Lucy already used that excuse to go home early. Do you see my dilemma? I don’t know what to believe. The latter is way more sinister. It fits the profile of a scheming bitch, especially in the workplace. Well, at this point I want to give Lucy the benefit of the doubt, but knowing Mandigo is a bully and he’s bullying the bullies at Walmart/Sam’s Club, I’m enjoying this KARMA.

Fifty Shades Of Deceit At Walmart/Sam’s Club

Prior to the current ‘Center Section’ employee scheduled at the Walmart/Sam’s Club where I’m currently working, the ‘Closing Shift’ ended no later than 9:30pm. Keep in mind that the store closes at 8:30pm. Now the ‘Closing Shift’ ends at 10:00pm. The supervisors and/or managers already knew that the ‘Closing Shift’ was a pain in the ass and one of the main reasons employees in the ‘Center Section’ abruptly quit. Instead of making it less painful, they’d increased the toxicity by scheduling employees to work until 10:00pm. Young, energetic, and partying adults ain’t gonna put up with that bullshit, so guess what that means, this new bunch of employees will either quit and transfer out of ‘Center Section.’ It’s like they’re [Supervisors and/or Managers] creating the most unfavorable work environments on purpose.

In the upcoming weeks, I’ll really get a feel of how much damage this new fucked-up strategy will leave in its wake. Seriously folks, the behavior of the supervisors and/or managers at Walmart/Sam’s Club where I’m currently working is the epitome of ineptitude. Guess what? KARMA is a bitch because Mandigo is the King of Deceit and he’s bullying the bullies at Walmart/Sam’s Club. Does it get any better than this?

Lucy And Dante Kissing In A Tree

Mandigo was eager to gossip about what happened between Lucy and Dante on the night before on Friday, August 3, 2018. It seems Lucy and Dante were in a shouting match because Lucy demanded Dante stay at work until all the ‘work’ was completed and Dante told Lucy in so many words, “Fuck you.” One of Mandigo’s wickedest ploy is pretending that he’s a really good guy. OK, he revealed that he stayed late to ‘help’ Lucy, but I know what really happened was that Mandigo received overtime pay for gossiping with Lucy. Mandigo is a full-time employee with benefits and his transfer from ‘Center Section’ to ‘Electronics’ was obviously approved. He’d already received his pat on the back for being a Bully/Slacker. The sky was the limit for him.

For the low, low wage of $11.50 per hour, the supervisors and/or managers at Walmart/Sam’s Club where I’d worked and when it came to my black ass, either didn’t know or willfully ignored that slavery was abolished in America in 1865.

The supervisors and/or managers at Walmart/Sam’s Club expected me to take on the tasks of four full-time employees as a part-time employee with no full-time benefits and no overtime pay. If that’s not slavery, what do you call it?

Mandigo Wore The Gossip Crown Proudly

On Tuesday, July 31, 2018, Mandigo had no qualms backstabbing Lucy again. Seems Lucy had been crying on Mandigo’s shoulders like she cried on Maryam’s shoulders. A bully tactic if I’d ever seen one. Yeah, Maryam told me what Lucy had said about me before she quit working at Sam’s Club. I wasn’t mad at Lucy, because she just confirmed what I’d already known, that Lucy was a bully/slacker. Except for this time, Mandigo was a bully and he’s bullying the bullies at Sam’s Club. Also, early on during Mandigo’s employment he and I disagreed that Lucy was a bully. In real time, it took me less than a second to realize that Lucy was being bullied by Mandigo. Sweet dreams are made of these.  😉

Mandigo is the new gossip grapevine at Sam’s Club. So when I told him about my book approximately two weeks ago, it was a calculated move on my part. I’d assumed he run and tell Lucy. I’m still waiting for a sign that Lucy knows about my book.

You can believe if Mandigo is still working at Sam’s Club after I voluntarily leave or I’m laid off, he will receive a copy of my book. Plan B! 😉

I Heart Compassion For Workplace Bullies

I’m going out of my way to help workplace bullies. Just like us, the workplace bullies I’d crossed paths with, know that Karma is a bitch! Oh, and by the way, they call me Ms. Karma. 😉 Those same bullies will think twice about bullying another black woman. Just sayin’! Publicly exposing workplace bullies is child’s play for me. Trust me this ain’t my first rodeo. Truth be told, I’m an expert at publicly exposing workplace bullies. However, writing, editing, and marketing your own books, make exposing workplace bullies look like an episode of Sesame Street. In other words, I’m having fun.

Just call Mandigo Mr. Karma. He’s a bully and he’s bullying the bullies at Sam’s Club where I’m currently working. He was also a gossip monger just like Lucy.  but there’s only room for one gossip monger at Sam’s Club. Mandigo was ruthless. Not only did he walk around the store spreading vicious gossip, he had no qualms backstabbing Lucy. I for one couldn’t be happier. It was/is a win, win for me.

The Practice Of Slavery Is Alive and Doing Well At Walmart/Sam’s Club

C’mon, you can’t tell me that in America and especially in retail that the practice of slavery is not the new normal. But, and here’s the best part, ‘Don’t Take No Shit, Document.’

On Sunday, June 10, 2018, I was scheduled to work an eight-hour shift in the ‘Center Section’ at Sam’s Club. Yeah, I’m a part-time employee, just keep that in mind, OK. This particular department is the length and width of a professional basketball court. It has four areas, i.e., Seasonal, Clothing, Housewares, and Snacks. When I tell you that for eight straight hours I’d struggled to keep the clothing area organized, believe me.

My shift began at 10:45am and at approximately 4:30pm the clothing area was a disaster.

Oh, and by the way, I was the only employee scheduled in the ‘Center Section.’ However, a sniveling bully manager name Monica decided it was a good idea to reprimand me on June 16, 2018, for not completing all the tasks in the ‘Center Section’ on June 10, 2018, that would have taken four full-time employees to accomplish.

Suffice it to say, I ain’t mad at Monica, what she did was so predictable. It was definitely a bullying tactic.
